With a 25 year career in hospitality, Sarah is a tenacious and committed professional with experience across business development, small business ownership, franchising and operations.
In the last decade, she’s had success across the sale of three wholly owned cafes on Auckland’s North Shore. This included scoping the sites, setting-up (including refurbishment), operating, growing, engaging with the communities in which they served and finally getting the financials ready for the sale of the businesses. Not to mention her ability to make, and appreciate a good cup of coffee.
Sarah understands and empathises with business owners and is no stranger to the multitude of challenges you can face running an enterprise. Staffing, maintenance costs, leases, economic pressures including wage rises and public holidays. This first-hand knowledge, paired with an MBA in Entrepreneurship equips her with fundamental theories to practically apply for clients in a business context.
When employed by larger companies, her experience as both Operations and Business Development Manager for various franchise systems, has seen her help many businesses improve their systems and profitability through cost saving and training. Analytical and with the strong P&L and KPI’s management, as well as an honest and charismatic people person, she truly knows the value of building and maintaining strong relationships.
