About this Business for sale in Queenstown-LakesQueenstown Adventure Tourism Business
Queenstown is renowned as the adventure capital of the world and Flyboard Queenstown is another unique adrenaline activity on offer and is the only Flyboard operator in Queenstown. It has been operating since early 2014 and operates from November 1st to April 30th every year.
The Flyboard is a water jet board that connects to a jetski. The jetflyer’s feet are strapped onto the board. The power from the jetski is transferred into a 45ft hose and out through the jet outlets on the board. The Jet pack is similar but instead of being strapped in by your feet, the Jet pack is strapped on to your back. You control the jet pack with hand controls. A tandem seat can be used so that an experienced pilot may take a passenger.
The purchase of Flyboard Queenstown comes with the necessary approvals to operate from QLDC and Maritime NZ, plus all the equipment needed to operate a fully functioning adventure tourism business! Plus full training will be provided by the vendor and the current manager will be available to help run the business.
There is also the potential (subject to the usual consents) to grow the business by expanding to Lake Wanaka and Lake Dunstan in Cromwell! Also, Flyboard operates for 6 months from November to April giving the new owner 6 months to explore new markets for Flyboard, or pursue other business opportunities!
