Rick has extensive experience developing contracting/service, engineering and manufacturing businesses for export markets, across NZ, Australia, Europe, UK, Asia and the USA. He has held senior corporate roles in medium to large sized entities in NZ, and directorships/advisory roles for companies based in the UK and Australia. Rick has worked across many industry and business segments, from manufacturing, management training, mining and quarrying, along with many 24hour engineering and service delivery companies. He also has 20+ years of experience, at senior strategic and operating levels, in the electrical distribution and contracting industry in New Zealand.
Rick’s strengths lie in strategy development, people management, service delivery, business to business relationships and profit execution. He focuses on sales, mergers, acquisitions (going concern and shareholdings) and divestments of businesses in the value range $500,000 upwards, particularly in import, export, distribution, manufacturing, engineering and service related businesses.
Rick has been based in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty area for most of his working life. His network of contacts is extensive and his business background vast. Drawing from both, Rick can readily connect buyers with the “right” business and ensure that vendors get the best possible return on their investment.
Rick worked with us on the purchase of a business to integrate into our existing company. Our aim was to broker a deal where all parties came away satisfied and on good terms. Rick was really good in facilitating this particularly during due diligence and final negotiations.

Rick and I formed part of the Senior Executive team in a large corporate contracting organisation during a time of significant change.
