Steve Catley brings a mix of market knowledge & practical experience to every transaction.

A long-time Tauranga local, Steve has a wealth of experience, deep regional knowledge, and an impressive business background, making him a trusted advisor for his clients.

Steve spent 26 years at BP Oil in operations, storage, and nationwide fuel distribution. One of Steve’s career highlights was managing Wiri Oil Services (an industry-owned storage and distribution centre that processes almost 2 billion litres of fuel each year).

After leaving BP Oil Steve moved into manufacturing, where he took ownership of a local Tauranga company, which he ultimately sold through LINK in 2018. This personal experience as both a buyer and seller gives Steve a unique perspective and deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in business ownership.

Steve focuses on the sale of Multi-Million Dollar businesses. Specialising in professional, manufacturing, construction, engineering, automotive, and service sectors, Steve leverages his expertise in business operations and supply chain logistics to guide his clients through the intricacies of selling their businesses. His strategic approach is built on decades of hands-on experience, ensuring that every client receives insightful advice tailored to their industry. Steve is dedicated to securing optimal outcomes for his clients, bringing a mix of thorough market knowledge and practical experience to every transaction.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys motorsports and maintains an active lifestyle through fitness. He lives in the Bay of Plenty with his partner, Louise, and is a proud father of two and doting grandfather of four.
