For Tim Fenwick, champagne was more than a celebratory beverage; it was a passion he’d studied, explored, and shared with friends. So, when he stumbled across an Instagram ad for a boutique champagne business for sale, something clicked.

For Tim Fenwick, champagne was more than a celebratory beverage; it was a passion he’d studied, explored, and shared with friends. So, when he stumbled across an Instagram ad for a boutique champagne business for sale, something clicked.

“I saw the product, saw it was champagne, and I was hooked,” Tim says. “I was already in FMCG, running a supplier business, but this felt like the next step, something I could grow, something I actually cared about.”

That business was Three French Vines, an importer with serious brand potential. But falling in love with the product is only one part of the equation; buying a business is a complex process. That’s where LINK Business’s Tony Andrew, entered the picture.
