Before stepping into business ownership, Graeme built a strong foundation in accounting and financial management. Beginning his career in a Christchurch CA firm, he progressed into corporate leadership roles both in New Zealand and overseas, ultimately becoming Chief Financial Officer. His strengths in strategic planning, financial control, and systems development were consistently recognised and remain central to his advisory approach today.
Graeme spent many years "at the coalface" operating, growing, and ultimately selling a nationwide wholesale and import business with international supply relationships. He made the tough calls, carried the responsibility, and experienced the realities of running a sizeable operation. This depth of ownership experience gives him a unique understanding of the complexity, emotional intensity, and commercial nuance involved in preparing, marketing, and selling a significant business.
