Broad experience gained in global multinationals and SME's
Jeremy is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Management Studies in Accounting. He recently returned to NZ after 10 years abroad in Australia and the UK, where he held senior management roles focused on strategic planning, acquiring and divesting businesses. With a broad range of experience gained in both global multinationals and SME’s, he applies those skills to conversations with business owners who are contemplating their exit strategies.
After starting his career in NZ, Jeremy joined Fonterra and then relocated to Australia, divesting the Brownes Foods business in WA. He then joined Witchery and ultimately sold the business to Country Road (listed on the ASX), bringing his 4 years in Australia to a close.
Following those successes, Jeremy relocated to the UK for 6 years where he took a number of businesses through restructures and turnarounds. Many of these roles required an element of divesting all or part-of the business, as well as new acquisitions and capital raising.
Jeremy’s highlight was working for Coty during a period of constant change while working on the strategic plan, debt refinancing, digital transformation and small business incubation. Jeremy’s last UK role was spent managing the disposal of industrial assets in Mexico during Covid.
Jeremy relishes spending time with family and friends, and showing his fiancée the diversity and beauty of NZ and its people. He has a soft spot for whiskey and loves fly fishing and trail running.
