Ray has been a licensed business broker for over 15 years. He previously owned and operated several successful businesses in Auckland and Tauranga including a large hardware store, a garage workshop, a franchised tyre shop, a large service station and a home improvement franchise. Prior to purchasing his first business Ray held senior management positions in the retail and commercial banking industry.

Ray has always had a passion for the automotive industry. On behalf of his clients Ray has negotiated the successful sales of several automotive workshops, many panel and paint businesses, auto parts and accessories outlets, tyre franchises, rental car businesses and even a couple of trailer manufacturing businesses. If a business has anything to do with the automotive sector Ray has the knowledge and experience to “talk the talk and walk the walk”.  

Over the years Ray has also assisted many of his clients to sell their manufacturing, light engineering and service-related businesses including the sales of retail hardware stores and joinery/timber merchants.

Ray has gained a wealth of experience and he has worked very closely with many business owners planning their exit strategies. In turn Ray has assisted numerous investors purchase their dream businesses. You will find Ray very approachable with strong negotiation skills and the ability to make deals happen.
